<p>Here, we take the time to make it shorter.

<p>LASH is a  data mining workbench written and rewrite
 till it's  real short. 

<p>LASH's conceptual model is based on a 
<a href="http://menzies.us/lash/?geometry-of-learning">geometric interpretation of 
learning</a>.

<p>Right now, we're at version 0.1 and the aim is
 make version 1.0 smaller than this, with more functionality.

<p>So far, we can say that once you get togehter:
<ul>
<li>
the right data structures for the data storage,</li>
<li>
the discretizes</li>
<li>
the indexing scheme for fast look-ups and cross-vals</li>
<li>
the statistical machinery for evaluating different learners</li>
</ul>
then the additional code required to encore numerous
data mining algorithms is quite succinct.
