Dr. Tim Menzies is an associate professor in the Lane Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, West Virginia University. He is the author of 170 refereed papers (see http://menzies.us/papers.php). Dr. Menzies has a long background in practical applications of advanced software research. For the last 15 years, he has worked as a software engineering consultant on object-oriented systems. Since 1998, Dr. Menzies has been consulting with NASA on learning methods for improving the testability of early life-cycle requirements. In the period 2001-2002, he was the software engineering research chair at the NASA IV\&V Facility, Fairmont, West Virginia. Currently, his is the liaison between NASA IV\&V and West Virginia University. He is also currently on the Editorial Board for the Empirical Software Engineering Journal and the Journal of Visual Languages and Computing. Dr. Menzies is also on the steering committee of the PROMISE workshops on repeatable experiments in software engineering (see http://promisedata.org). Dr. Menzies received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales in 1995, his Masters of Cognitive Science in 1989 from UNSW and his Bachelor of Computer Science in 1985 from UNSW. Currently she works on financial systems developed in .NET. Ms Hu recieved her Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, 2003.
