Welcome to Intro/Advanced AI

Upon successful completion of this course, students should understand:

• Basic theory of artificial intelligence (AI).
• Knowledge of AI programming, basic and advanced search, knowledge-based reasoning, machine learning
• Applications of AI to gaming and agents, natural processing.
• Cs573 students only: case-based reasoning and knowledge engineering.

This is a programming intensive subject (in LISP). 400-level students will work on a large gaming assignment while 500-level students work will work on an intricate AI task, of their own selection.
